Following the reunion held on 31st October 2007, organized by David Sandbrook and Alan Rees, in an unguarded moment Peter Condron and Sue Davies 'volunteered' to organize a return match. Sue surprised us all by arranging for the famous harpist David Watkins to give a 50 minute recital at TX09. After the event David said that he thoroughly enjoyed the day with us all and wished to be remembered to everyone. He sent his very best wishes and many thanks for making him so welcome. | TRAVEL | Click here for a map. Leave the M40 at junction 15 and follow the A46 signposted Stratford. At the first roundabout, take the A439 signposted Stratford Town Centre. The Welcombe Hotel and Golf course is two miles along this road from the roundabout, on the right. There is ample parking next to the hotel.. Alternatively from Stratford Town Centre the Welcombe Hotel and Golf Course is one mile on the left. From the road there is a long driveway up to the Hotel (watch the speed bumps) which is next to the stone monument on the Welcombe Hills. |
| ARRIVAL | When you arrive at the Welcombe on Thursday 22nd October from 1200 on, please park in front of the hotel (if this car park is full you will be directed to alternative car parks). After entering the hotel go by reception and a welcome drink will await you in the Trevelyan bar. We will eventually go to the Welcombe suite for our buffet meal.
