Communications Projects - Pictures of People - Nick Davies' leaving party

Home Up
Nick's 35 year BBC/CCI/NGW career encompassed many domains including transmitters, control systems, power, antennas, telecommunications, information technology, sales & marketing, 3G mobile networks, digital television and mobile television.  He held several senior managerial positions and in 1996 he led a management & employee buyout for BBC Transmission.  Although his bid was not chosen it was highly regarded and (together with his MEBO team) he played a major role in developing the newly formed private company: CCI.

CCI = Crown Castle International and NGW = National Grid Wireless

Pictures taken at The Leopard, Bishops Tachbrook, near Leamington Spa, Warwickshire on Friday 28th April 2006.
